The Flower shop in Pulborough is the hub of the community. Owner and Floral Designer Claire Denman leads a wonderful, cheerful, caring team, each with their own unique skills and attributes, helping to make customers feel valued and extra special, whatever their requirements.
“As a florist you get to see all aspects of village life, you get to share in people’s joy, happiness, sorrow, friendship and love. Every order, no matter how large or how small is special and says something unique. A good florist will listen carefully to the customer, interpret the message and convey exactly what is required, simply or extravagantly.” Claire Denman
Follow the flowershop.blog and get a closer insight into what the shop means to the community, Claire’s aspirations for the business, floral ideas and a taste of life as a village florist.
Each week, Claire will talk about what’s been going on inside and outside the shop. Stories like the humungous oil spill, that closed the road in and out of the village on one of their busiest days, to the biggest Christmas delivery ever, in September!
Claire will also introduce her very special team, including the odd chicken and Jack Russell, all of whom add to the buzz and community feel within the shop. So that whenever you drop in, you’ll feel very much at home.
We will also include advice and tips on what flowers are in season and how to create stunning seasonal bouquets, hand-ties and simple floral designs, so you can have a go at home.
When we have a new blog out, we’ll let you know, but keep checking in and follow us on Facebook, to keep up to date and in the know. You’ll always find something of interest or something to smile or laugh about about in The Flower Shop, Pulborough.
